Antonio started his professional career as an advertising creative executive for various digital ad agencies both in Barcelona and Madrid. After this initial stage, in 2002 decided to join Amnesty International Spain as Direct and Interactive Marketing Manager so he could bring his experience in online fundraising to the non for profit organization.
In 2004 he went back to the private sector and join the Spanish hotel chain Meliá Hotels International (one of the largest resort chains in the world with more than 350 hotels) as Online Marketing & Sales Manager. After holding various positions and globally leading the demand generation strategy and website development for Melia.com, in 2008 he was transferred to the United States as Senior Director of Distribution & Ecommerce for The Americas, leading the Ecommerce and Customer Strategy department in the continent.
Right now he advises companies from the travel sector on how to increase sales online. He is also a regular lecturer at the Master of Digital Business at ESIC Business School in Barcelona and other business schools in Spain. Antonio holds a Master's Degree at ESIC and a Bachelor degree of Communication Sciences earned at the University Ramon Lull in Barcelona. As a 15 year veteran of the Online Industry he brings to Global Humanitaria all his experience on online fundraising, lead generation strategies and online branding.
