In India we continue to work with primary school teachers and students to strengthen their skills and improve their learning. Thus, on the one hand, we provide training in pedagogy to the 57 teachers who teach reading, writing, and mathematics in 19 reinforcement centers. On the other hand, we meet periodically with them to identify difficulties in putting these new methodologies into practice, which are more playful, and which consider the socio-emotional part of the student. The objective is to encourage almost 2,000 primary school girls and boys and strengthen their knowledge to stay in school.
The childcare program includes nutritional controls and medical attention, as well as sessions on hygiene, nutrition and health for these schoolchildren and their families.
In addition to regular classes, 75 students attend the School of Music, vocal and instrumental, promoted by former Heroes del Silencio guitarist Juan Valdivia in five centers.
