In schools in Vacas we have launched sessions on good treatment and violence prevention, aimed at primary school students. So far we have visited two centers, David Morató and Copacabana, with the participation of more than 200 children. For these sessions we have used the animated short  “Joaquín’s problem” as a resource, which addresses issues related to good treatment, social inclusion, violence prevention, health care,  prepared by our field teams, as part of of the “Kusi Kawsay” project.  Didactic-ludic strategies are developed with the students to reflect, consolidate and reinforce the messages.

On the other hand, in Tarata, we have begun technical support for the development of pedagogical sessions on reading strategies , this as part of the process developed by the teachers who are participating in the Teacher Curricular Strengthening Program: “Being resilient”, which Global Humanitarian is carrying out with the collaboration of  the Development Cooperation Agency of the Principality of Asturias.

During this process, teachers participating in this initiative are applying with determination and creativity the knowledge and skills acquired during the training workshops that they have been carrying out together with institutions such as the Simón I. Patiño Foundation and the Ombudsman’s Office.
