Progress in the works of Kouadio-Yaokro

As you can see in the images, we continue working on the construction of a new school in Kouadio Yaokro.
The old infrastructure consisted of a single classroom for 39 students from different courses; the rest of the students in the area traveled 6 km to other nearby schools. Now, we build 6 classrooms for more than 150 students with the help of the community, which is present throughout the process, from the agreements to start the works, to the tasks and preparation of materials (sand, gravel, bricks…) that contribute to its construction.

So far we have built five schools in the country with the support of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and another six school canteens; Likewise, we have given literacy courses to more than 1,800 women from agricultural cooperatives in Daloa.
