At the beginning of September, Global Humanitaria organized a course on learning improvement strategies, subject planning and classroom management aimed at teachers from 10 primary schools. The training has been given by technicians from the Takeo Provincial Department of Education
During the course we have worked on:
> the use of pedagogical tools that facilitate and help learning;
> the importance of psychological management of schoolchildren : motivation, expectations, behavior modification and students’ needs for esteem, belonging and fulfillment; positive reinforcement.
> the management of physical space , to generate an adequate environment
> lesson planning, incorporating debate, reflection and student participation
> support for students with learning difficulties , their identification and the use of audiovisual technologies
The objective of the program is to train teachers to improve the reading, writing, comprehension and oral expression of 2,500 primary school students , reinforcing their schooling and their basic skills for their performance so that they expand their future opportunities.
