In Cochabamba we have restarted planting activities in family and school gardens. To begin with, we have covered the sides of the nurseries with plastic, due to the drop in temperatures. At the same time, we have given 3 practical participatory workshops on production techniques to groups of families dedicated to growing vegetables in Pajcha Baja, Pajcha Pata and Misukani. 20 men and 14 women have participated in these workshops.

On the other hand, during the month of May, and in activities coordinated with parents, teachers and students, plantings have also been carried out in school gardens   for the production of fresh vegetables, in 7 schools in Arbieto Tarata and Cows. We also continue to support 6 school cafeterias in Vacas, which are attended by nearly 400 primary school children and which we provide with proteins (meat, eggs) and gas.

In 2023, our food security program reached more than 433 families involved in productive projects and more than 5,700 students from 48 rural primary schools.
