In mid-December, a delegation from the Municipal Autonomous Government of Vacas (Bolivia) was visiting and evaluating the family garden program that Global Humanitaria promotes in nine communities of Vacas.

Among the institutional representatives were the Director of Productive Development of Vacas, the Director of Environment, the Municipal Secretary representing the Mayor of Vacas and the president and four councilors of the Department’s Municipal Council. All of them were able to see the facilities of the orchards as well as the production of vegetables and showed their satisfaction and support for the project and the families, to whom they delivered lots of carrot, onion and lettuce seeds. This activity is part of the food and nutritional security program that we carry out to improve access to food for children and their families, in Quechua populations of Vacas Tarata and Arbieto.
