TURKEY
Since the 7.8 and 7.4 magnitude earthquakes in February 2023 in Turkey and Syria, Global Humanitaria has been working to deliver aid to some of the towns affected by the quakes.
Specifically in the Hatay region, the hardest hit by this natural disaster, which caused over 50,000 deaths in southern Turkey and nearly 6,000 in northern and western Syria.
Global Humanitaria directs much of its aid to the city of Samandag, a town of over 120,000 people where the population has settled in precarious tent camps.
