UKRAINE
Global Humanitaria continues the emergency aid, initiated with the outbreak of the conflict in February 2022, to provide humanitarian assistance in Ukraine to children and their families. The conflict endangers the lives of 7.5 million children (according to UNICEF data).
The war, with continued attacks on Ukrainian enclaves by Russia, represents a humanitarian catastrophe where the most vulnerable, including children, are at the greatest risk of hunger, disease, abuse, and becoming victims of human trafficking.
Global Humanitaria channels aid to the country in the form of delivering basic food and essential supplies.
It is estimated that, to date, the war in Ukraine has displaced 4.3 million children, more than half of the country’s child population.
