In the last weeks of 2023, on the island of Kumirmari, (Sunderbans) we have carried out nutritional monitoring of 1,291 schoolchildren, through height and weight controls and we have continued with the distribution of food supplements in the form of a nutritious breakfast that they receive daily and that also serves as a stimulus for attendance at the centers where we provide school reinforcement.
On the other hand, at the health center the medical team has treated schoolchildren and the community population, around 200 in the month of December. Two mobile clinics were also set up, in the villages of Bhaghan Ghat and Kathkhali, to provide assistance to the population that cannot travel.
