Our educational program in India reaches 2,157 children and adolescents, to whom we provide school reinforcement in subjects such as reading, writing and numerical skills to improve their learning. To do this, we periodically meet with 59 teachers (44 in Sundarbans and 15 in Murshidabad) to share needs and identify opportunities to improve pedagogical processes, student participation in class and monitoring their progress.
At the same time, we have evaluated the nutritional status of 1,065 boys and girls in Kumirmari (Sundarbans), with the aim of preventing and detecting pathologies associated with malnutrition, prescribing treatments or referring cases, and also raising awareness among their parents to improve the quality of food intake. food.
