Global Humanitarian maintains humanitarian aid actions for children and their families in Gaza. These days we are delivering bags of non-perishable food and water to displaced families in camps west of Jan Yunis where 3,000 families live. Packages include nutritious products, such as preserves, oils, legumes, pasta or rice.

The delivery is added to the distribution of hot food that days ago we managed to make in the same area. We have also managed to distribute water, given the pressing needs because the infrastructures that provided drinking water in the Strip have been severely damaged and that 90% of the water is not suitable for human consumption.

Ceasefire and access to aid

After the ceasefire signed in October 2025, families in Gaza continue to fight to survive. Humanitarian aid has failed to meet the basic needs of the child population, as Tess Ingram, spokeswoman for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recently stated, aid is insufficient and conditions continue to deteriorate, especially in densely populated areas. More than a million children in Gaza face a severe shortage of food and water. (UNICEF)

From Global Humanitaria we join the calls to guarantee humanitarian access and protection of children and their fundamental rights to food, health and education.
